Requirements:

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience in VMware vSphere deployments, including:
  • ESXi installation and configuration
  • vCenter deployment and configuration
  • Cluster design (HA, DRS, resource management)
• L3-level troubleshooting skills related to vSphere deployment and integration
• Fair to good understanding of the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) stack, including:
  • vSphere
  • vSAN (deployment and basic design concepts)
  • NSX (basic deployment and integration knowledge)
  • SDDC Manager (conceptual understanding and/or hands-on exposure)
• Experience deploying VMware solutions in enterprise customer environments.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure fundamentals:
  • Server hardware
  • Storage systems
• Networking concepts (VLANs, routing basics)

Desired / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with VCF full-stack or partial deployments
• NSX-T deployment and troubleshooting experience
• VMware PowerCLI or automation exposure
• Experience working in partner or professional services organizations
• VMware certifications such as VCP, VCF-related certifications, or equivalent

Travel Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or equivalent work experience.

Job Description:

• Act as an L3 Deployment Engineer for VMware vSphere and VCF-based solutions
• Lead and execute end-to-end deployment of VMware vSphere infrastructure in customer environments
• Participate in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) deployments, including:
  • Planning and executing SDDC Manager–based deployments
  • Deploying and integrating vSphere, vSAN, and NSX components
• Perform greenfield and brownfield deployments, upgrades, and migrations
• Validate infrastructure readiness (compute, storage, network) prior to deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment and configuration issues during implementation.
• Work closely with customers during:
  • Requirements gathering
  • Design discussions
  • Deployment, validation, and handover
• Produce deployment documentation, runbooks, and as-built reports
• Collaborate with internal architecture and escalation teams as needed
• Continuously build expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation, new releases, and best practices
